This page explains how to delete data that DMJ Sync Analytics (operated by Nome House Studios) holds about you. There are three options depending on how much you want removed.
Option 1
Delete data from one platform
Use this if you want to disconnect Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube and remove what we’ve stored from it, while keeping your account and your other platforms.
- Log in to your dashboard.
- Find the platform’s card.
- Click Disconnect.
This immediately deletes our copy of that platform’s access token and revokes our ability to fetch anything further. To also remove the exports we’ve already stored from that platform, email us using Option 3 below and say which platform.
Option 2
Remove the app from Instagram
You can revoke access from Instagram’s side, without visiting our site at all:
- Open Instagram and go to Settings and privacy.
- Go to Website permissions → Apps and websites.
- Find DMJ Sync Analytics and select Remove.
Instagram will notify us automatically. When we receive that notification we immediately delete the stored Instagram access token and the Instagram data associated with your account, and we generate a confirmation code you can use to verify the deletion took place.
Note: this removes your Instagram data. It does not affect data from TikTok or YouTube, which Instagram has no relationship to, and it does not delete your DMJ Sync Analytics account. Use Option 3 if you want everything removed.
Option 3
Delete everything
To delete your entire account and all associated data across every platform, email us:
Use the subject line “Data deletion request” and send from the email address associated with your account (this is how we verify the request is genuinely yours).
We will:
- Confirm receipt within 3 business days
- Complete the deletion within 30 days
- Email you a confirmation once it’s done
What gets deleted
When you request full deletion, we permanently remove:
- Your account and login credentials
- All stored access tokens for every connected platform
- All exported data (Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube)
- Any cost data you entered
- All share links you created (they stop working immediately)
- Any manager access grants you issued
- Any webhook address or API tokens you configured
- Your export history and preferences
This is a hard delete, not a flag — the rows are removed from our database, not hidden.
What we cannot delete
Being straightforward about the limits:
- Files you already downloaded. CSVs and PDFs saved to your own computer, or forwarded to a manager or brand, are outside our control.
- Data held by Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube. We only delete our copy. To delete data on those platforms, use their own tools.
- Encrypted backups, which are retained for up to 30 days on a rolling schedule before being overwritten. Your data is not accessible or restorable to the live service during that window.
Checking the status of an automatic deletion
If your deletion was triggered by removing the app from Instagram (Option 2), we generate a confirmation code and a status page URL. If you have that code, you can open the status page to confirm the deletion completed and when.
